The Happy Hormonist

Last updated: April 2025

The Happy Hormonist is still in its early days—born from my own journey through IVF, motherhood, and hormonal ups and downs—and fuelled by a desire to help others feel more balanced, seen, and supported.

This space is a work in progress, created with heart, hope, and honesty. I’m figuring it out as I go—learning, growing, and sharing what’s helped me—with the aim of offering something useful, relatable, and real.

Creative Contributions

Content & Voice

All content has been written and created by me, based on lived experience and a desire to help others feel less alone in their hormone health journeys. What you’ll find here is far from perfect—but it’s honest, practical, and grounded in what’s worked for me so far.

Design & Branding

The branding, visuals, and vibe have also been shaped by me—with help from:

Canva Pro – used for creating graphics, templates, and visual content

Trial and error, late-night edits, and lots of tea ☕

Photography

Most of the imagery you see has either been taken by me or sourced from lovely, royalty-free platforms like:

Pexels

Unsplash

Full credit goes to the brilliant photographers who make their work freely available.

Website & Tech

None of this would be possible without:

FEACREATE – who’ve supported me in getting this site off the ground

Flaticon / Freepik – for beautifully crafted icons and fonts, with special thanks to Us and Up, HAJICON, and cgkamal.

A healthy dose of Googling, tutorials, and persistence

Tools & Wellness Resources

Much of what I share comes from a combination of:

Lived experience and trial-and-error

Evidence-informed sources (which I link or reference where relevant)

Advice from professionals I trust—midwives, GPs, fertility specialists, hormone health practitioners—and the wisdom of other women who've walked similar paths.

Thank You

To those of you visiting, reading, commenting, or just quietly cheering me on—thank you. I see you, and I appreciate you.

If you’re here at the beginning with me, welcome. I hope this space continues to grow into something that feels supportive, gentle, and real.
