About The Happy Hormonist

If you’re here, chances are you’ve felt that quiet sense of being off —not quite yourself, and unsure why. I get it, because I’ve been there too.

My journey began with a PCOS diagnosis, then years of fertility struggles, IVF, and the ups and downs of perimenopause. Searching for answers, I explored holistic therapies and made lifestyle changes—slowly discovering what truly helped me feel more like myself.

Those experiences inspired The Happy Hormonist— a space where I share practical tools and gentle encouragement for women at every stage, from puberty to menopause. Whether you’re navigating mood swings, burnout, or just want to feel better in your body, you’re not alone.

Now, as a mum of two, my mission is to support others with relatable insights and real-life support. No pressure, no perfection — just a reminder that you’re not broken. Your body’s simply asking to be heard.

What skill took you the longest to master?

Rest. I was always a do-er, pushing through exhaustion. It took years (and a few hormone crashes) to realise that rest isn’t lazy — it’s productive.

What's one risk you took that completely changed your life trajectory?


Leaning into IVF and fertility treatments while also exploring holistic healing. It was a risk — financially, emotionally, physically — but it reshaped not just my family, but my outlook on life.

Describe a moment when everything didn't go as planned, but turned out better.


Being made redundant. It felt like failure at the time, but it gave me space to breathe, be with my girls, and finally create The Happy Hormonist.

What’s a mistake you're grateful you made?


Believing I had to push through everything — fatigue, burnout, grief. It led me to discover what balance really means.

What's a personal transformation you're most proud of?


Learning to honour my body instead of trying to “fix” it. That mindset shift changed everything.

Learning to trust my body again. After years of feeling like it was failing me, I now treat it with respect, curiosity, and compassion. That shift has changed everything—from how I parent to how I show up in the world.
